Role Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Manager with a strong creative flair to join our team on a 12-month contract, covering a maternity leave. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with solid early experience who is ready to take ownership and step up. You will work closely with our current Creative lead before her leave begins, ensuring a smooth handover and continuity across all marketing activity. You will sit alongside our PR function, maintaining the balance we currently have between creative execution and communications. If all goes well, this role has the potential to evolve into a permanent position within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of visual and digital content across campaigns, trade marketing and brand communications.
  • Update Bijou’s wine labels, occasionally creating new products and ranges.
  • Implement Bijou’s digital presence, including website management, social media, and email marketing.
  • Develop and implement digital campaigns that engage both trade and consumer audiences.
  • Analyse marketing performance data to optimise campaigns and inform future strategy.
  • Support sales teams with compelling visual assets, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Manage and implement attendance and stand design at key trade fairs.
  • Manage photography and video projects from concept to completion, ensuring brand consistency and storytelling excellence.
  • Maintain and evolve Bijou’s brand identity, ensuring creative excellence across all touchpoints.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design or a related field (2:1 or above preferred)
  • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in a marketing role
  • Strong creative instinct with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom) and Canva
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, social media and analytics tools
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong written and visual communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience in wine, hospitality or premium/lifestyle brands
  • WSET qualification or equivalent
  • Photography, videography or art direction experience
