We’re seeking a dental hygienist who values clear communication, clinical excellence, and making a real difference in people’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur
- Perform preliminary dental examinations to get an overview of the patient’s oral health history for the dentist
- Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues
- Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily
- Provide post-operative health education to patients so they can take practice good dental care at home after procedures
- Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealants
Qualifications
- Seasoned and new graduates are both encouraged to apply!
- Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
- Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines
- Superb customer service and communication skills
- Current CPR certification
Compensation
$62 hourly DOE
