We are seeking an experienced attorney to primarily focus in real estate. If you\’re an attorney with a strong track record of favorable client outcomes who thrives when surrounded by top-notch legal professionals, look no further! Our ideal applicant will have at least 3 years of experience in real estate transactions, title examinations, title insurance, and purchase agreements. You should have a strong understanding of land use, title insurance, and business law. If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply today.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate detailed due diligence, and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy
- Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff
- Negotiate real estate transaction terms and conditions, and facilitate the transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title company
- Write and review title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, purchase and property management agreements, contracts, probate and trust documents, leases, and financing statements, as needed
- Interface with city boards and agencies to avoid zoning legal issues and obtain permits
Qualifications
- Completion of accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree is required
- Be a member of your local bar association and hold a current law license in the state
- Superb negotiation, networking, research, and communication skills are needed
- Proficient with computers
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm
Compensation
$105,000 – $130,000 yearly
