Responsibilities:
- Painting: Interior and/or exterior walls, ceilings, and trim.
- Flooring: Install or replace flooring, including hardwood, tile, or carpet.
- Plumbing Tasks: Install or replace faucets, toilets, and other basic fixtures.
- Electrical Work: Replace or install outlets, light fixtures, and ceiling fans.
- Appliance Tasks: Install or repair appliances, such as dishwashers, ovens, or microwaves.
- Vanities: Install or replace bathroom vanities and associated fixtures.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning and power washing of surfaces.
- Material Management: Act as a runner to acquire materials for the project as needed.
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks.
- Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handling any repairs, if needed.
- Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed.
- Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced.
- Manage other maintenance requests as required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience.
- Availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests.
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques, and procedures.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly
