About the role

The Strategic Account Manager owns and grows a portfolio of large law firm clients across the UK. This role is focused on driving multi-product adoption across the BigHand platform, building trusted C-level relationships, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes for our clients. You will operate as a strategic partner to firms, aligning BigHand’s capabilities across pricing, resourcing, workflow and BI to improve profitability, utilisation and operational performance.

What you’ll do

  • Own a defined revenue target, with accountability for forecast accuracy, deal execution and year-on-year growth.

  • Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across pricing, resource management, workflow and BI solutions.
  • Translate client challenges into clear commercial outcomes, linking solutions to profitability, utilisation and efficiency.
  • Partner with marketing, product and leadership to bring insight-led conversations into client engagements and the wider market.
  • Maintain high standards of pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals within large law firms.
  • Experience selling value and outcomes, not just software.
  • Strong ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders, including CFOs and COOs.
  • Deep understanding of law firm economics (utilisation, realisation, margin, lockup).
  • Experience building and executing account plans that drive long-term growth and expansion.
  • Confident operating in a team-selling environment, leading deals and aligning internal stakeholders.
  • Strong personal brand, with a presence in the legal market through client engagement and industry events.
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to support pipeline development.
  • Naturally curious, with strong questioning and problem-solving skills.

What we offer

  • 25 days holiday (exc. bank holidays) + 3 BigHand days off between Christmas & New Year.
  • Various wellbeing benefits including private medical, vision, online wellbeing programs & webinars, access to online therapy and Employee Resource Groups (ERG).
  • Company-wide Wellness day, for our teams all across the globe to switch off and spend the day doing something to nourish their mental health.
  • Opportunities to give back with company volunteer events and individual volunteer days.
  • Career growth opportunities and study leave allowance.
  • Family benefits including enhanced parental leave, secondary caregiver leave and fertility support.
  • Financial benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and salary sacrificing.
