The Strategic Account Manager plays a critical role in the continued growth of BigHand.
About the role
- You will build C‑Level Relationships with Large Law Firms.
- You will successfully build an account strategy resulting in year‑over‑year sales growth, driving forward BigHand's product portfolio within your territory.
What you’ll do
- Build collaborative relationships across the legal industry with senior stakeholders, including executives.
- Use your client relationships to expand existing clients’ BigHand technology portfolios through up‑selling and cross‑selling.
- Learn and understand the value of BigHand software solutions and communicate this effectively to existing and prospective customers.
- Maintain accurate client and prospect information in our CRM system (Salesforce).
- Research and build profiles of prospective clients using publicly available information.
- Track, qualify, and route leads from various sources, including direct mail campaigns, inbound and outbound calls, marketing, new sales group, special events, trade shows, and company websites.
- Be curious and use investigative skills to uncover new sales opportunities.
- Travel for business (approximately 25%) for meetings, conferences, and events, with flexibility and accommodations available.
What we’re looking for
- Experience selling into the legal industry within large law environments.
- Strong relationship builder who enjoys creating meaningful connections to support sales success, including in‑person client meetings and attending industry events.
- Experience using tools to build sales pipelines, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other social channels to engage and build relationships.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
- Excellent communication skills with experience selling to senior decision‑makers, including CFOs, CEOs, and other key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, coordinating deals effectively.
- Curiosity and strong investigative skills to identify new opportunities.
