The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

To implement, manage and promote a full events program across the company venues, including live music, club nights, entertainment activities, corporate hires, etc. Ensure a healthy profit line through ticket sales and associated F&B sales. Develop promotions strategies for the events programs, manage print media campaigns and assist with social media advertising and content production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a booking strategy that fits with each brand and venue across the company.
  • Manage any existing event programs, consolidating bookings and promotions.
  • Source, negotiate and book new live music acts, DJs and other entertainments (quizzes, social groups, film clubs, bingo nights, etc).
  • Manage each venue's events calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of all upcoming shows.
  • Maximise profitability through appropriate ticketing, contract negotiations and integration of venue F&B resources, liaising with site managers and HO operations teams.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agents, promoters, artists, and local business partners to generate repeat business and new opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot any scheduling issues and provide cover if needed.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure effective communication on event programs. Communicate to the wider team on relevant updates and campaigns.
  • Attend frequent Marketing and creative meetings to feedback, suggest and discuss relevant topics.
  • Work closely with the Directors on budget allocation, using given budgets effectively and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Ops team on any relevant projects, including F&B offers, promotions and in-venue activities.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Have a strong, existing network of live music promoters, DJs, etc.
  • Ability to complete tasks and projects within a deadline.
  • Ability to manage budgets and understand how to maximize profitability.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Industry experience in either an in-house or agency role.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand a brand and continue to strengthen its presence.
