The Role: Senior Paid Ads Manager

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Paid Ads Manager to lead and develop our paid media offering across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok.

This is a senior hands‑on role for someone who loves performance marketing, can think strategically, and knows how to drive measurable results for brands. You will take ownership of key client accounts while also shaping how we deliver paid media as a service, improving efficiency, performance and scalability across the department.

You will manage freelancer support, improve performance frameworks, and guide campaigns from strategy through optimisation to reporting. You will work closely with our Client Services, SEO and Content teams to deliver integrated strategies that go beyond platform metrics and impact real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy for high-value and complex paid media campaigns
  • Oversee optimisation across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Improve tracking consistency across GA4, UTMs and platform integrations
  • Review campaign setup and messaging to maximise ROI

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Guide and support Paid Ads Managers and freelancers
  • Maintain and improve delivery processes and quality
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams on integrated campaigns
  • Contribute to new business proposals and client growth strategies

Innovation and Service Growth

  • Drive experimentation in bidding, audience targeting and creative testing
  • Champion platform knowledge and educate the wider team
  • Identify opportunities to scale paid media delivery efficiently

Commercial Accountability

  • Improve reporting through data‑led storytelling in Looker Studio
  • Monitor margins and freelance utilisation to maintain profitability
  • Recommend updates to pricing, minimum spends and service packaging

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in paid media, ideally agency‑side
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta and paid social strategy
  • Confident in GA4, Looker Studio and conversion tracking
  • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on results and ROI
  • Comfortable leading performance conversations with clients
  • Process‑driven, proactive and passionate about digital innovation
  • Experience managing freelancers or team members is a bonus
