Highbridge Resourcing is a social care agency recruiting a level 3 qualified Support Worker to work with a young person on a 1:1 basis in Weston Super Mare. The young person is aged 16-19 years. This long-term contract role requires commitment and stability to build relationships.
As a support worker, you will support a young person transitioning into independent living. The service supports young people aged 16-18 requiring 24-hour independent living support. You will work alone on each shift. The available shift is: Waking Night Support 2200-0800. You can choose your hours; part-time and full-time work are available, with a minimum of 1 shift per week.
The Ideal Support Worker Will Have:
- An NVQ Level 3 in children and young people or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Counselling, Psychology Degree, Nursing Diploma)
- At least 6 months paid experience in children/young people or similar support roles in the UK
- Experience as a support worker for young people
- Experience of lone working 1:1
- A current DBS or willingness to undertake a new one
