As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all members at our leisure club. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor activities in and around the water, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies as needed. This position requires vigilance, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all visitors.
Duties
- Vigilantly supervise swimmers and other patrons to ensure their safety at all times.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and rescue assistance as necessary.
- Conduct regular safety checks of the swimming area and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area, including changing rooms and surrounding facilities.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance lifesaving skills and knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patrons regarding safety protocols and any incidents that may arise.
