Role Overview: This role requires a self-motivated individual responsible for managing the PreConstruction phase of multiple projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in fast-paced design and build environments and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Costing & Estimating: Develop detailed cost analysis, source competitive prices, manage tender packages, and coordinate site surveys.
- Building Contracts & Legal Support: Review and negotiate contracts, manage legal aspects such as performance bonds and insurance.
- Design Management: Ensure timely production of designs, collaborate on design development, and coordinate with relevant technical teams.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, manage subcontractors, and assess supply chain performance.
- Building Control: Liaise with building control to ensure compliance with fire strategy, ventilation, and safety provisions.
- Program & Risk Management: Prepare preconstruction and construction schedules, as well as procurement plans.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the proper documentation and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the preconstruction phase, building strong relationships and managing multiple projects.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and communicate cost and technical reports clearly, ensuring accurate project documentation.
