Senior Designer – Landscape Architecture

The Role
We’re working with a renowned international design studio with a presence in London, New York, and Shanghai – known for their award-winning, climate-driven landscapes and urban regeneration work. Positioned at the intersection of public realm, urban design and site-specific art, they bring over 40 years of global experience to some of the most transformative city-centre and cultural projects around the world.
They’re now looking for a Senior Designer to join their London studio – someone creative, concept-driven and highly skilled in translating bold ideas into impactful, buildable design. You’ll work closely with the Design Director, taking a leading role on a range of ambitious national and international projects, from public art installations to large-scale masterplans.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver design excellence across projects, from concept to construction
- Generate strong, original ideas with a distinct visual and conceptual identity
- Lead the production of project deliverables and uphold the studio’s design standards
- Guide and mentor junior staff, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team culture
- Work closely with project managers, directors and consultants to deliver coordinated, high-quality work
- Take part in internal design reviews, QA procedures, and regular project meetings
- Represent the studio at client and strategic project meetings, both in the UK and internationally
- Maintain project documentation, manage information flow, and ensure deadlines are met
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years’ experience in landscape architecture, with a standout portfolio
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent; Registered/Chartered or working toward
- A confident visual communicator: fluent in hand sketching, 3D modelling, and diagramming
- Mastery of Rhino, AutoCAD, Lumion and Adobe Suite ; Grasshopper and Revit/BIM are a plus
- Strong material knowledge including planting, furnishing, and hardscape detailing
- Proven experience across all project phases – concept to construction documentation
- A proactive, resourceful mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- A collaborative communicator who thrives in a multicultural studio environment
- Fluent English, spoken and written
