Senior Interior Designer – Commercial Workplace D&B

We are looking for a commercially minded Senior Designer who thrives in front of clients, loves the challenge of winning work, and can take projects from concept through to delivery. You’ll be joining a team focused on the most prestigious clients and highest-value projects, delivering exceptional workplace environments with some of the largest budgets per sqm in the market.

Beyond technical ability and design expertise, personality and cultural fit are particularly important for this role. The team is looking for someone vibrant, energetic, creative and personable, who brings positive energy, fresh ideas and a strong presence to both clients and colleagues.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in shaping and winning work, leading the creative process from initial concept development through to technical delivery, working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to create outstanding workplace projects.

This is a client-facing position that requires equal strength in design, communication and commercial awareness. You’ll be expected to present ideas confidently, build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and contribute directly to the continued growth and success of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workplace design projects across all RIBA stages
  • Develop compelling concept-led designs
  • Pitch for new business and support project-winning presentations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Present creative ideas confidently to senior stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality design and technical documentation in Revit
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors
  • Balance creativity with commercial and delivery requirementsWork across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the studio’s design offering

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a strong Mid-Weight or Senior Designer within commercial workplace interiors, D&B experience highly advantageous.
  • Experience working across all project stages from strategy to completion
  • Confident client-facing and presentation skills
  • Track record of supporting or winning new business opportunities
  • Advanced Revit proficiency
  • Strong technical understanding alongside creative design ability
  • Passion for workplace design and the fit-out sector
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
