Furniture Project Co-ordinator | Commercial Office Fit-Out & Workspace Solutions

Are you looking to take the next step in your career with a thriving, forward-thinking specialist that genuinely invests in its people? We are currently supporting a prominent Design & Build contractor known for delivering exceptional workspace environments for clients ranging from owner-occupiers to prestigious FTSE 250 corporations.

With an existing furniture team member currently on a structured development path transitioning toward a Furniture Manager role over the next two years, they are looking for an ambitious, capable Furniture Project Co-ordinator to complement the team and support its continued growth.

Reporting directly to management, you will play an integral role in day-to-day furniture operations, working alongside a collaborative, social team with fantastic training and career progression opportunities.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing furniture projects from initial brief and quotation through to final installation, handover, and completion.
  • Working closely with the Furniture Manager to produce accurate quotations, finalize specifications, and use scale drawings to check dimensions and prepare quantity take-offs.
  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for selected Day 2 requests and handling additional ad hoc client queries.
  • Issuing purchase orders, following up on order acknowledgements, checking them against placed orders, and approving supplier invoices.
  • Coordinating deliveries in line with project programmes alongside the Furniture Project Manager and fit-out teams.
  • Assisting with on-site snagging resolution and keeping internal trackers, reports, and financial documentation fully up to date.
  • Liaising professionally with a diverse network of clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Staying up to date with commercial furniture trends, products, and company quality/safety policies.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have previous commercial office furniture experience, preferably gained through a dealership or furniture manufacturer, alongside solid all-round commercial furniture knowledge. You must bring proven experience managing client interactions, producing quotes, and handling the financial administration of projects.

You’ll need strong coordination and administrative skills, excellent proficiency in MS Excel, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. If you are looking to join a dynamic, social team that invests heavily in staff training and long-term development, this is an exceptional opportunity.
