We’re working with a London-based fit-out contractor that has seen excellent growth in recent years, delivering high-quality CAT A & B office fit-outs and refurbishments ranging from £5m to £30m in value. This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving commercial team and gain exposure to major projects in the fast-paced fit-out sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the commercial management of CAT A & B fit-out and refurbishment projects (£5m – £30m)
  • Support the preparation of cost plans, tenders, and subcontractor procurement
  • Help monitor budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Work closely with design, pre-construction, and site delivery teams
  • Assist with managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners

About You

  • Experience working in a commercial/quantity surveying role within construction (fit-out experience desirable)
  • Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contracts
  • Detail-oriented, with good numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communicator with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
