Creative Director

Our client is looking for a Creative Director to join its London team and lead the creative vision behind some of the most exciting workplace design projects in the industry. With over 25 years designing and building offices in London, and a portfolio that includes landmark buildings such as the Shard, 22 Bishopsgate and the Walkie Talkie, this is a business with a genuine track record and a reputation built on getting the detail right. As a certified B Corporation, it also takes its social and environmental responsibilities seriously, embedding sustainability and wellbeing into everything it designs. This is a chance for the right person to shape spaces that genuinely change how people work, joining a talented team of designers, architects and project specialists across a wider studio network of over 200 people.

What the role involves:

• Leading the creative direction across a portfolio of workplace design and fit out projects, from concept through to delivery
• Building strong relationships with clients, translating their brand and culture into inspiring physical spaces
• Mentoring and developing a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration
• Presenting design concepts to clients with confidence and clarity
• Staying ahead of trends in workplace design, sustainability and the future of work
• Collaborating closely with project management, architecture and delivery teams to ensure design intent is carried through to completion
• Contributing to new business pitches and helping to grow the studio's reputation for standout creative work

What the studio is looking for:

• Proven experience as a Creative Director or Senior Design Lead within workplace, commercial interiors or a related design environment
• A strong portfolio demonstrating bold, considered and commercially aware design work
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with confidence in front of clients and senior stakeholders
• A collaborative leadership style, with a track record of nurturing design talent
• Sound knowledge of materials, detailing and the practicalities of delivering design on time and on budget
• A genuine passion for workplace design and the impact it has on people
