A long-established, family‑run business operating across agriculture, construction, civils and groundworks is looking for a hands‑on Contracts Manager ready to take real ownership – and ultimately step into an MD role long term.

The Role

You’ll be running projects across construction, civils, groundworks and agri‑build, managing labour, subcontractors, plant and materials, while building strong relationships with farmers, landowners and owner‑managed clients. No corporate noise. No remote working. Real work, real accountability.

What You’ll Do

• Lead project delivery across multiple sites
• Manage resources, safety, quality and commercials
• Price small–medium works and support larger tenders
• Develop teams and raise delivery standards
• Help drive long‑term strategy and succession

What You Bring

• Solid contracts management background (construction/civils/groundworks/agri‑build)
• Practical, hands‑on leadership — ideally up through the tools
• Confident juggling multiple jobs and solving problems quickly
• Strong client communication and trust‑building skills
• Fully committed to being on‑site / office‑based
