This is a technically driven Space Planner position within a fast-moving commercial workplace environment. You’ll sit close to the sales function, turning early-stage conversations into viable, well thought-out spatial strategies. You won’t just be drawing plans. You’ll be stress-testing ideas, producing intelligent test-fits and creating layouts that balance density, compliance and real-world usability. It’s detail-heavy, deadline-sensitive work where accuracy matters.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the sales team to translate client briefs into workable spatial concepts
- Produce initial layouts and high-quality test-fits at speed
- Assess building constraints, regulations and compliance considerations
- Calculate densities, occupancy levels and workspace ratios
- Refine layouts based on commercial, technical and client feedback
- Maintain high drawing standards in AutoCAD and Revit
- Ensure every plan issued is accurate, coordinated and presentation-ready
- Support technical discussions internally and with clients where required
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial workplace space planning
- Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit advantageous
- Solid understanding of UK workplace standards, compliance and building constraints
- Highly detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to drawing production
- Comfortable working in a sales-led environment with shifting priorities
- Strong communication skills - able to explain technical rationale clearly
- Able to manage multiple projects without compromising accuracy
- Proactive, organised and commercially aware
