I’m working with a leading global workplace design and delivery business, looking to bring in a highly commercial Senior Furniture Consultant. This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who knows the commercial furniture market inside out, enjoys developing relationships and has a proven track record of winning work and growing accounts. You’ll be bringing relationships, furniture expertise and genuine sales ability to the table, not just managing specifications. Previous Design & Build or fit-out experience would be a bonus but isn’t essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and developing relationships with clients, consultants, designers and key industry contacts
- Identifying new furniture opportunities across existing accounts and new clients
- Leading client conversations on furniture strategy, specification, budgets and procurement
- Presenting furniture solutions confidently to senior-level clients
- Developing proposals and packages that balance design, quality and commercial value
- Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers and manufacturers
- Working closely with interior designers, workplace strategists and delivery teams
- Owning opportunities from the initial conversation through to procurement and delivery

Requirements:
- Strong experience working for a commercial furniture dealer
- Naturally sales-driven with a strong network in the commercial furniture and workplace market
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturers, products and pricing
- Confident presenting, pitching and negotiating with senior decision-makers
- Exposure to Design & Build or workplace interiors is a plus, not essential
