Design Manager | Luxury Hotel Fit Out | St Andrews We’re partnering with a respected fit out contractor on a 60 room hotel project in St Andrews, and they’re looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead the design process from pre construction through to delivery. The project is currently in PCSA, with a start on site planned for May 2027. This is a great opportunity to get involved early, shape the design from the outset and see it through to handover on a high profile hospitality scheme in one of Scotland’s most iconic locations. The role You’ll take ownership of design management across the project, working closely with the client, architect, interior designer and consultant team during the PCSA stage. You’ll coordinate design information, manage the design programme, drive value engineering and buildability reviews, and make sure packages are issued on time to support procurement. Once on site, you’ll manage the flow of information to the delivery team and specialist contractors, resolve design queries quickly and keep a firm grip on change. What we’re looking for We’d love to hear from Design Managers with a strong background in hotel or high end hospitality fit out, ideally with experience of PCSA or two stage tender projects. You’ll be confident managing multiple stakeholders, comfortable with MEP coordination and FF&E interfaces, and able to bring structure to a busy design process. Most importantly, you’ll need to be based in Scotland, as the client is keen to build a team close to the project
