Quantity Surveyor – Kent – £60k–£70k + Benefits Location: Kent (Projects across London & South East) Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Package Company: Fit Out / Refurbishment Main Contractor Project Values: £5m – £20m Reports to: Commercial Manager The Opportunity We’re looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor renowned for delivering high-end commercial and hospitality projects. You’ll work on prestigious fit out and refurbishment schemes ranging from £5m to £20m, gaining exposure to landmark projects while being part of a high-performing commercial team. This is the ideal opportunity for a driven Quantity Surveyor seeking to take ownership of exciting projects, support career progression, and play a key role in a market-leading contractor. What You\’ll Be Doing * Take commercial responsibility for live projects ranging from £5m to £20m * Prepare and negotiate subcontractor packages and procurement schedules * Lead CVRs, forecasting, and cash flow reporting * Maintain robust cost control and risk management across projects * Drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives * Manage change control processes and oversee final accounts * Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and internal teams What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in fit out or refurbishment projects (ideally £5m–£20m) * Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial best practice * Background in commercial, office, hotel, education or leisure schemes preferred * Excellent negotiation, reporting, and leadership skills * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent What’s on Offer * £60,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience) * Market-leading benefits package * Career progression with a highly regarded contractor * Opportunity to work on landmark projects with industry leaders Apply now take your career up a notch
