A growing high-end residential contractor based in the heart of London is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead across a portfolio of beautifully detailed projects. This is a key hire for the business - you’ll be managing 4-5 live schemes at a time, shaping the commercial function, and helping to drive the company’s continued growth. With a turnover of around £8m and an ambitious plan to double in size over the coming years, this is an opportunity to make a real impact - with a clear progression route to Commercial Director and potential equity on offer further down the line.
The Projects
- Luxury residential and boutique mixed-use developments across London
- Projects ranging from £500k to £5m in value
- A mix of refurbishments, new builds, and bespoke fit outs
- Working under both Traditional and Design & Build contracts
- Growing portfolio including hotel refurbishments and mixed-use schemes
The Role
- Take ownership of all commercial aspects across multiple live projects
- Oversee cost planning, procurement, and subcontract management
- Lead valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Work closely with Directors to shape commercial strategy and processes
- Act as the go-to commercial lead for the business — mentoring junior staff and driving best practice
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in high-end residential construction
- Strong understanding of Traditional and D&B contracts
- Commercially astute, detail-driven, and confident managing multiple projects
