Junior Commercial Manager – Interior Fit-Out Location: Hertfordshire (Thundridge) Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE Benefits: Bupa private healthcare, laptop, phone Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent A leading fit-out contractor is looking to appoint a Junior Commercial Manager to support its delivery team across a range of high-quality commercial interior projects. This role offers the chance to learn from experienced professionals and grow within a supportive and structured environment. Role Overview: Working closely with the senior commercial team, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in procurement, cost management, and project support. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day commercial operations of multiple fit-out projects, ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. Key Responsibilities: * Report into three experienced Commercial Managers across live projects. * Manage and liaise with supply chain partners. * Assist with procurement of materials and site packages. * Help with valuations and cost reporting. * Raise and manage purchase orders and associated admin. What We\’re Looking For: * 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial or assistant QS role within the fit-out or interiors sector. * Previous experience at a reputable contractor is highly desirable. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * Eagerness to learn and develop within a growing business. * Competent with Microsoft Office and procurement systems. Working Arrangements: * Office-based in Hertfordshire, 5 days a week to ensure thorough training and integration. * Working hours: 7:30am–4:30pm or 8:00am–5:00pm (flexible)
