Freelance Project Manager - £7.5m CAT A Cut & Carve Location: Oxford Circus, Central London Salary / Package: Competitive, depending on experience Project: £7.5m CAT A cut & carve Duration: ASAP to November 2026, with the possibility of further work afterwards I'm working with a contractor who needs a heavy-hitting Project Manager to take the lead on a £7.5m CAT A cut and carve project right in the heart of Oxford Circus. This is not a role for someone who has only delivered standard office fit-out. The cut and carve experience is essential. You'll be taking ownership of a major London project where structural alteration, programme management, coordination and delivery experience really matter. What you'll be doing: * Take overall responsibility for the delivery of a £7.5m CAT A cut and carve project * Own the programme from start through to completion * Manage subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team * Drive quality, programme and commercial performance * Manage client relationships and keep communication tight throughout * Coordinate the complexities that come with a live cut and carve environment * Make sure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required standard What we're looking for: * Proven Project Manager experience on major commercial fit-out projects * Strong cut and carve experience - essential * Experience delivering projects around the £5m+ mark * Strong CAT A experience * Confident managing clients, subcontractors and project teams * Able to take ownership and make decisions without being hand-held * Strong programme and delivery management skills * Available to start ASAP The project runs through to November 2026, with the possibility of further work afterwards for the right person.
