The Opportunity
We’re recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK’s fastest growing main contractors, who have already secured over £500m worth of work for 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to take commercial lead on a £25m new build industrial warehouse scheme in Bristol, reporting directly to the Commercial Director.
You will take the project from pre-construction all the way through to handover, working closely alongside a Project Manager and playing a key part in ensuring the project is delivered successfully.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take full commercial responsibility for a £25m new build industrial warehouse project
- Manage costs, procurement, and subcontractor packages throughout the lifecycle
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, valuations, and variations
- Lead monthly CVRs, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure robust contract and cost control at every stage
- Liaise closely with the Project Manager, clients, consultants, and delivery teams
- Report directly to the Commercial Director
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on new build projects
- Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
- Experience with industrial, logistics, or large-scale commercial schemes
- Excellent cost management, negotiation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative project team
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
