About the Company
Our client is an industry leading provider of integrated workplace solutions, specializing in office design and build and furniture. They are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their team in Birmingham and help deliver projects up to circa £5m. 2026 is looking to be a big year for them with a strong pipeline and big plans in the works making it an ideal time to join them in their journey.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Project Manager with a proven track record to join their experienced delivery team in Birmingham. Your primary role would be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
The key roles and responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
- Contract management: They are also responsible for managing the contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. This includes negotiating terms, ensuring compliance, and resolving any disputes.
- Financial reporting: The QS/Commercial Manager is responsible for preparing financial reports that provide updates on the project's financial performance. This includes tracking expenses, revenue, and profit margins.
- Risk management: They are responsible for identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the project's financial performance. This includes analysing market conditions, assessing financial risks, and developing contingency plans.
- Team management: The QS/Commercial Manager may also manage a team of financial professionals, including cost estimators, financial analysts, and contract administrators.
- Build/Maintain Relationships: You’ll be responsible for engaging with clients during the pre-construction phase to understand their needs, preferences, and requirements to help create proposals for the client.
