About the Company
Our client is a multi-award-winning Design & Build firm based in the heart of Bath. They are renowned for creating "destination workplaces" that prioritize employee well-being, creativity, and modern functionality. Specializing in high-spec commercial office fit-outs and creative studio spaces, they have built a reputation for delivering some of the most vibrant and innovative interiors in the South West.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Manager with a strong background in interior fit-out. You will be the face of the company on-site, responsible for the day-to-day management of subcontractors and the physical execution of high-end designs. Your goal is simple: deliver a flawless project, safely and on time, while maintaining the high standards our client is known for.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
- On-Site Leadership: Managing all daily operations on-site, ensuring subcontractors are working efficiently and adhering to the project program.
- Health & Safety: Acting as the primary lead for H&S. You will ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, conduct site inductions, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
- Quality Control: Implementing rigorous quality checks. You’ll ensure that the "Build" matches the "Design" perfectly, catching and resolving snags long before the client walkthrough.
- Logistics & Coordination: Managing material deliveries and trade sequencing within busy city-centre locations, ensuring minimal disruption to neighboring tenants or the public.
- Communication: Acting as the vital link between the design team, the project manager, and the client. You will provide regular progress updates and attend site meetings to resolve any technical or design queries.
The Offer
In return for your site expertise, our client offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive package. This is a chance to join one of the most creative and employee-centric firms in the industry. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where site managers aren't just "overseers," but key contributors to the design-led process. If you take pride in seeing a conceptual drawing turn into a stunning, physical reality and enjoy working on high-profile projects in Bath and the surrounding areas, this is the role for you.
