Location:Bromley (BR1 3RB)

About the Role

The role of a Store Manager is vital in achieving strong store performance and supporting the development of your team. To be successful in this role you'll need to be aligned with our values and business goals, while inspiring and motivating your team to deliver outstanding results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, along with strong organisational abilities, be reliable and assured in making effective decisions. They should also be adaptable, customer focused and possess strong problem solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and committed to maintaining high standards.

This is not a warehouse role.

You'll spend most of your time helping customers, finding solutions and ensuring the store runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading from the front to inspire and motivate your team
  • Encourage a positive and flexible approach to daily management of the store/team
  • Managing, recognising and rewarding your team whilst maximising the performance of your store
  • Identify the potential of your team to ensure a strong pipeline of talent
  • Full ownership of store financial contribution in order to drive sales and control costs
  • Ensure you and your team always provide the highest level of customer service in person, by phone and email
  • Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable storage solutions
  • Maintain commercial awareness of competitors to improve store performance
  • Full ownership of the day-to-day running of the store
  • Ensure you take accountability for all aspects of store performance and team development

Physical requirements:

Some light physical activity is involved, such as moving equipment and carrying out store checks. Full training and equipment are provided.
