Responsibilities
- Actively enhance the guest experience through personal interaction with the guests.
- Answer questions about the menus and make recommendations to the guests confidently by passing all product knowledge tests/quizzes.
- Ensure all orders and guests’ requirements are correctly processed by repeating the order back to the guest and accurately inputting into the till.
- Ensure all tables receive the food and drink they have ordered by adhering to ticket management procedures.
- Manage cash payments in their money belt, whilst adhering to all company security procedures.
- Ensure that food and drink have been made to company specification before they are delivered to the guest.
- Assist the team in achieving the specified minimum score in all guest review platforms.
- Follow all company standards in relation to service, speed of services and hospitality.
- Fully prepare, maintain and close the restaurant in line with company standards.
- Prepare and deliver food, consistently, to Bella standards with passion and knowledge.
- Correct mistakes quickly and courteously to ensure that the guest is satisfied with the outcome.
- Always inform the manager on duty of any guest complaints.
- Anticipate potential guest dissatisfaction and make attempts to resolve issues earlier.
- Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and a fond farewell.
Training
- Give yourself and others the knowledge and skills.
- Complete and pass all relevant training given, practically or in our online training academy, including, but not limited to: Health & Safety, Food Safety and Testing.
Teamwork
- Actively and positively encourage teamwork.
- Attend work, on time, when required by checking the rota on a regular basis.
- Ensure that guests’ needs are met by assisting colleagues, where required during the shift.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties, as requested.
- Ensure we hold each other to account to maintain Bella standards.
- Assist in making new team members feel welcome.

Communication
- Share information.
- Communicate clearly to colleagues to ensure that messages are understood.
- Notify the manager on duty of any accidents.
- Notify the manager on duty when leaving the restaurant.
