Role: Social Media Guru
Location: Las Iguanas Brighton and the local Brighton community

Hours: 5 Hours Per Week
Are you obsessed with TikTok trends, Instagram Reels and creating content that gets people talking? Do you know how to turn views, likes and shares into real customers through the door?
At Las Iguanas Brighton, we're looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Guru to help build our local presence, engage with the Brighton community and drive awareness of our fantastic food, cocktails, events and experiences. This isn't a desk-based marketing role. We want someone who will get involved, create exciting content, connect with local businesses and groups, and help make Las Iguanas one of the most talked-about venues in Brighton.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating engaging content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- Producing reels, stories, videos and trend-led content that captures attention
- Showcasing our food, drinks, events and vibrant atmosphere
- Working with the restaurant team to create authentic behind-the-scenes content
- Promoting offers, events and experiences to local audiences
- Building relationships with local businesses, students and community groups
- Monitoring trends and identifying opportunities to increase engagement
- Growing our social media following and brand awareness
- Driving customer visits and supporting sales growth through creative marketing activity
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about social media and digital marketing
- Confident using TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- Creative, enthusiastic and full of fresh ideas
- Comfortable filming and editing content using a smartphone
- Outgoing, friendly and confident representing the brand
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Well connected within the Brighton community
- Commercially aware and understands how social media can influence customer behaviour
Previous marketing experience isn't essential. What matters most is creativity, energy, initiative and a passion for creating content that delivers results.
