We’re working with a well-established local business in Great Yarmouth who are seeking a skilled Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage their day-to-day finance function on a part-time basis. The Role
- You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day accounting, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth cash flow.
- Key duties include:
- Managing bookkeeping across sales, purchases, and reconciliations
- Preparing monthly management accounts and cash flow updates
- Processing supplier payments, invoices and VAT returns
- Supporting budgeting and cost control
- Liaising with external accountants at year-end
About You
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage)
- Solid knowledge of double-entry accounting, VAT and UK financial processes
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience (ACCA/CIMA advantageous)
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
