Big Sister Theatre is a London theatre charity creating emotionally intelligent gatherings through live theatre. We are launching a free monthly community gathering for creatives, on a format that is new to London, and we need a producer to help us with the first three nights.
The role
- Create the mood of the night, in the room and online, alongside our Artistic Director, who hosts
- Build our marketing plan from our starting draft, then carry it out: social media, outreach, free ticketing and a simple tracker
- Reach actors, writers and other creatives through networks and communities
- Run the door and the welcome on the night
The terms
- A short freelance contract covering the first three nights, from late November to March, with potential for an extension
- Β£2,750 flat fee, budgeted at up to 144 working hours in total, depending on experience
- Not a fixed 9 to 5: you set your own hours, mostly remote, plus in person at each monthly night in London
- Night 1 is Sunday 17 January and you must be free
Who we are looking for
Someone who has filled a room from nothing before, is strong on social media, and is drawn to emotionally intelligent gatherings, caring about how a night feels as much as how it runs. You do not need a theatre background.
