Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
Big Reputation is a fast growing B2B marketing agency working with clients in construction, manufacturing and professional services. We’re looking for a Content Manager to take the lead on our content output – both for our own brand and for our clients.
About the Role
This is a hands on role where no two days look the same. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering content strategies that drive results, managing our content and social media client accounts for both brands and people. You’ll also ensure everything that leaves the studio is sharp, accurate and on brand. From social campaigns and SEO blogs through to podcasts, newsletters and paid campaigns – you’ll oversee it all.
The role goes beyond the desk. You’ll be out interviewing clients, gathering case studies, planning and directing video and photo shoots, and working closely with our creative team to bring campaigns to life.
One of our values is ‘relationships drive results.’ We act as an extension of our clients’ teams and we treat our suppliers as an extension of ours. The ability to build both strong internal and external relationships is crucial to the success of this role. You’ll often be asked to create content and case studies of our clients’s clients so an awareness that you’re representing Big Reputation and our wider network too, is important.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage and deliver multi-channel content strategies for B2B clients
- Write and edit high quality copy across blogs, social, newsletters, case studies and websites
- Plan, brief and direct video and photography shoots, working with external suppliers and clients
- Conduct interviews and capture stories for use across client and agency channels
- Manage paid social campaigns and report on ROI
- Oversee Big Reputation’s own podcast and content output
- Help raise the profile of the Managing Director and support content creation for the personal brand
- Collaborate with our creative team to ensure visuals and copy work hand in hand
- Stay ahead of SEO trends and ensure client content ranks and performs
- Manage content calendars and ensure all activity is scheduled in advance
- Act as a positive and supportive role model to our apprentice and future younger team members as we grow our team
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in content, ideally within B2B, an agency environment or managing content for a portfolio of companies
- Exceptional written skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Positive attitude and a track record of delivering an exceptional client experience
- Proven experience in planning and delivering content strategies that drive commercial results
- Confidence to go out on site, interview people, and direct creative shoots
- Knowledge of paid social campaign management and SEO best practice
- A natural collaborator who thrives by bringing proactive and positive energy to a team
What You’ll Get
- £30,000 – £40,000 salary depending on experience
- 25 days holiday and bank holidays, your birthday off, full Christmas shutdown
- Hybrid working with 2 days from home and flexible hours with an early finish Friday
- The chance to work with ambitious businesses across the UK
- Opportunities for professional development, including support for further training
- A growing agency where your impact will be seen and valued
- The opportunity to grow and develop your own team as we grow
