This is a contract BA role with real purpose behind it. Our client is a well‑established, mission‑driven organisation operating a digital platform that makes a direct difference to the people it serves. They are midway through a significant transformation programme and need an experienced Senior BA to help shape how that platform evolves.

The brief is clear: gather requirements, define user journeys, and translate what the business needs into specifications the technical team can actually build from. It is a hands‑on engagement. You will be running workshops, mapping processes, writing user stories, and sitting at the intersection of business and delivery.

What the role involves:

  • Capturing business requirements and turning them into clear user stories and functional specs
  • Running workshops and engaging stakeholders across business and technical teams
  • Mapping user journeys and defining UX requirements to guide platform design
  • Analysing platform capabilities and identifying where improvements are needed
  • Documenting processes, data flows, and integration points to a high standard
  • Supporting backlog refinement within an agile delivery environment

What you need:

  • Solid experience as a Senior Business Analyst on digital delivery or transformation programmes
  • Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams — you write for developers, not just stakeholders
  • A track record of improving digital customer journeys or contact‑centre services
  • Good working knowledge of APIs, data flows, and system integrations
  • Strong documentation skills and the confidence to run workshops and manage stakeholder relationships
