Overview: A well-established global organisation in the energy sector is seeking a SAP Ariba Specialist to join its IT SAP support function. As the business undertakes a major transition from ECC to S/4HANA, this role is critical in optimising SAP Ariba functionality and improving the Source-to-Contract experience across international operations. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while working as part of a collaborative global SAP team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance SAP Ariba modules, with a focus on: Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance.
  • Work closely with IT, Supply Chain stakeholders, and third-party providers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
  • Promote standardised SAP support processes and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Prioritise and deliver change requests and support issues across SAP Ariba modules.
  • Manage testing for all configuration changes and ensure effective implementation.
  • Engage with user communities across regions including the UK, Europe, Americas, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP architecture and security standards.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in a SAP IT support environment.
  • Strong technical and functional understanding of Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Lifecycle modules.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across global teams.
  • SAP Ariba certifications and knowledge of SAP technical architecture are beneficial but not essential.
