Overview: A well-established global organisation in the energy sector is seeking a SAP Ariba Specialist to join its IT SAP support function. As the business undertakes a major transition from ECC to S/4HANA, this role is critical in optimising SAP Ariba functionality and improving the Source-to-Contract experience across international operations. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while working as part of a collaborative global SAP team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance SAP Ariba modules, with a focus on: Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance.
- Work closely with IT, Supply Chain stakeholders, and third-party providers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
- Promote standardised SAP support processes and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Prioritise and deliver change requests and support issues across SAP Ariba modules.
- Manage testing for all configuration changes and ensure effective implementation.
- Engage with user communities across regions including the UK, Europe, Americas, and Asia-Pacific.
- Ensure compliance with SAP architecture and security standards.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven experience in a SAP IT support environment.
- Strong technical and functional understanding of Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Lifecycle modules.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across global teams.
- SAP Ariba certifications and knowledge of SAP technical architecture are beneficial but not essential.
