Are you a back-end leaning full stack engineer ready to shape the next generation of retail technology? You will join an innovative retail tech company powering the digital experiences of luxury and high-end fashion retailers worldwide. Their clienteling platform helps in-store teams connect meaningfully with customers via personalised, data-driven interactions.

You will work within a small, high-performing dev team and focus primarily on building out the backend with Node.js and TypeScript. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the future front-end rebuild, re-platforming their architecture, building microservices in Node.js and TypeScript, and a host of new feature development work.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Contribute to future frontend rebuilds and architecture, including microservices development.
  • Develop and expose REST/GraphQL APIs; work with MongoDB (NoSQL).
  • Deploy to Azure Cloud with containerised deployments.
  • Collaborate with a small team to deliver feature development in a retail tech context.
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years' experience in backend or full stack development.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of scalable REST APIs and NoSQL databases.
  • Interest or experience in front-end development.
  • Proactive, solutions-led mindset with a passion for improving systems.

The role is remote, with the option to work in the Shoreditch office (1 day a week if you're local).
