We are looking for an experienced Integration Architect to join a large, complex enterprise technology environment on a contract basis. Reporting to the CTO, you will lead the enterprise integration architecture function - shaping the strategy and vision that enables and accelerates business growth. You will design and maintain scalable, resilient integration architectures, ensuring solutions align with architecture and engineering standards across operational, strategic, and tactical domains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and maintain enterprise integration architecture, ensuring resilience, scalability, and alignment to business objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into cost-effective, fit-for-purpose integration solutions in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams across the organisation.
  • Champion integration best practices across application, data, process, service, and system domains.
  • Establish and maintain architecture standards, patterns, and documentation.
  • Identify reusable integration patterns to promote futureproofing of services and solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership on service and system consolidation.
  • Collaborate closely with application, connectivity, data, platform, and security engineering teams.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Extensive experience in enterprise integration architecture and solution design within complex organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration platforms and cloud integration services (e.g. Databricks, Microsoft Azure, ServiceNow).
  • Proven ability to align technical solutions with business strategy and architecture standards.
  • Strong understanding of modern security architecture and non-functional requirements.
  • Familiarity with CIS, DAMA, INCOSE, and/or TOGAF (practitioner level preferred).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills - able to translate complex concepts for varied audiences.
  • Systems thinker with a growth mindset and experience across multi-modal delivery approaches.
