IT delivery project manager – supply chain, ERP and warehousing transformation. Letchworth | Hybrid (1–2 days a week in-office) | £48,000 to £56,000 + 15% bonus
Are you a delivery-focused project manager with experience across warehouse systems, ERP, or supply chain technology? Want to own business-critical projects within a leading multi-brand group that’s investing heavily in modernisation? This could be your next move.
Lead transformation at scale
This organisation is a household name in automotive services, with a UK-wide presence and significant wholesale operations. They are in the midst of a large-scale digital and operational transformation, moving from a legacy tech stack to modern, modular SaaS solutions. As part of this, they are building out their delivery capability and need a hands-on project manager to take the lead on a range of supply chain and ERP programmes. You’ll be managing projects across warehousing, logistics, and back-office systems, including a paused rollout of a leading WMS solution and the early-stage design and vendor selection for a new ERP platform. If you’ve delivered high-impact systems in fast-moving operational environments, you’ll be able to hit the ground running.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering complex SaaS platform projects end to end, with a current focus on warehousing and supply chain tech
- Driving discovery, planning, and implementation phases for a new ERP system, likely Microsoft Dynamics or similar
- Managing budgets, Statements of Work, and third-party relationships
- Working cross-functionally with technology, operations, finance, and transformation teams
- Owning project documentation including PIDs, impact assessments, RAID logs, and governance reporting
- Bringing stakeholders with you and influencing where you have no direct authority
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience delivering SaaS or application projects, ideally in logistics, ERP, or warehouse technology
- Comfortable managing projects with multiple vendors and business-critical outcomes
- Experience of tools like Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, and project planning software
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to lead and engage stakeholders
- PRINCE2, APM PMQ or equivalent preferred
- Curiosity, energy, and initiative over rigid titles or backgrounds
- We’re open to someone stepping up into this role if you have the delivery mindset and right foundation. A service desk or coordinator background with project delivery exposure could be a great fit.
Why apply?
- Join a major UK brand with stable investment and ongoing growth
- Play a key role in defining and delivering a new ERP solution
- Be part of a pragmatic, down-to-earth technology team who value character and curiosity
- Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with hybrid working and strong benefits
Package and location
- £48,000 to £56,000 salary
- 15% bonus
- 33 days holiday rising to 38 with service
- Private healthcare, wellbeing support, retail discounts and more
- Hybrid working from Letchworth HQ with flexibility for travel to other sites or suppliers
