If you enjoy learning and developing your technical skills, if you love to work on broad ranging crucial infrastructure projects and if you like to work in a friendly supportive environment this could be for you. You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager and the wider IT Team to deliver robust infrastructure solutions, support a multitude of project initiatives (there’s lots!), and drive continuous improvement through innovation and automation. Your day-to-day will include: Designing, delivering, and maintaining resilient network and server infrastructure. Supporting Cisco network environments and working with Meraki cloud-based solutions. Managing a virtualised environment (VMware) and implementing robust backup solutions (Azure Site Recovery, Veeam). Overseeing network deployments and upgrades, with a strong focus on endpoint security and system optimisation. Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. Ensuring compliance with Cyber Essentials and contributing to the development of IT strategies. Supporting network infrastructure services across a large, diverse estate, including security systems. What you’ll bring: Strong experience in network infrastructure management, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach. Expertise with Cisco switches, VMware environments, Windows Server 2016/2019, Azure technologies, and backup strategies. Hands-on knowledge of Meraki dashboards and associated wireless and CCTV technologies. Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience. Strong prioritisation and time management skills, with a keen eye for continuous improvement and automation. Desirable qualifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (essential). VMware Certified Professional and Microsoft Azure or 365 certifications (really desirable). Why join? Comprehensive benefits including a generous pension scheme, healthcare plan, and access to ongoing training and development. A collaborative, supportive working environment that values continuous learning and professional growth. Workstyle: Based in central London, with occasional travel to various London locations.
