Head of IT Service Management in Birmingham

This is an opportunity to lead the design and build of an end-to-end IT support function for a household name in UK retail. You’ll be joining the business at a pivotal moment – the organisation is ready to modernise its IT support offering and elevate its customer-facing services.

You’ll be trusted with a blank sheet of paper to set the agenda, define structure, and choose support tooling. You\’ll help connect support teams and 3rd parties through setting up modern processes, navigate a data-heavy application landscape, and championing change within IT support.

We’re looking for:

Significant experience in service management
Proven ability to lead through change
Confident working across a legacy application landscape
Experience dealing with complex stakeholders
Knowledge of service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and confidence in implementing best practices
Experience researching and implementing IT support tooling
Experience managing or working closely with third-party suppliers The role is based in Birmingham, with hybrid working
Salary up to £85,000 depending on experience
