We are looking for an experienced Shopify Manager to own and scale our Shopify channel to multi-million-pound annual revenue. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth through best-in-class conversion rate optimisation (CRO), paid media performance, and close collaboration with our Digital, CRM, and Brand teams. You will act as the commercial and strategic owner of Shopify, balancing data-driven decision making with a deep understanding of our brand and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shopify Growth Ownership
    • Own the end-to-end performance of the Shopify store, with clear accountability for revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and profitability by working with our Ecommerce team.
    • Build and execute a Shopify growth roadmap aligned to wider business objectives, working with developers to execute the vision.
    • Identify and unlock opportunities to scale revenue to £Ms while maintaining strong margins.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
    • Run a structured, insight-led CRO programme across Shopify in conjunction with our CRO expert.
    • Use quantitative and qualitative insights (e.g. analytics, user behaviour, testing, customer feedback) to identify friction points and growth opportunities.
    • Prioritise and deliver testing plans that measurably improve conversion, AOV and customer experience.
    • Share learnings across teams and embed a culture of continuous optimisation.
  • Paid Media (PPC) Performance
    • Work closely with Paid Media specialists to increase PPC profitability and scalability.
    • Ensure landing pages, product pages and user journeys are optimised to support paid traffic.
    • Use performance data to inform spend allocation, creative direction and on-site improvements.
    • Balance growth and efficiency as budgets scale.
  • Brand Representation
    • Be a custodian of the brand across the Shopify experience.
    • Ensure site design, content, tone of voice and UX fully represent the brand at every touchpoint.
    • Work with Brand and Creative teams to launch campaigns, product drops and seasonal activity.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration
    • Partner closely with Digital and CRM teams to deliver joined-up customer journeys.
    • Align onsite strategy with CRM activity (email, SMS, loyalty, retention).
    • Collaborate with Product, Tech and Analytics teams to deliver improvements efficiently and at pace.

Requirements

  • Essential
    • Significant experience owning and scaling a Shopify store, ideally to £Ms in revenue.
    • Proven track record of running successful CRO programmes.
    • Strong understanding of PPC / paid media and how onsite optimisation drives profitability.
    • Commercial mindset with experience managing performance KPIs.
    • Confident working cross-functionally with Digital, CRM, Brand and Developer teams.
    • Data-driven, with expertise in GA4, Clarity and other analytics platforms.
  • Desirable
    • Experience in fast-growth ecommerce or DTC brands.
    • Experience with BI tools such as Looker.
