We are looking for a part time (3 days a week) commercially minded People Business Partner to join our growing business. This role combines strategic partnering with operational excellence, supporting leaders across the organisation while also owning and optimising our core HR pillars and systems (HiBob and Workable). You will play a key role in supporting our people strategy, managing end to end Employee Relations (ER) matters, and ensuring our HR processes, policies and systems are joined-up, efficient, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnering
- Partner with senior leaders to drive people strategy aligned to business goals
- Use data and insight to influence decision-making and improve performance
- Support change initiatives, including restructures and organisational development
- Employee Relations (ER)
- Lead on ER cases (e.g. grievances, disciplinaries, performance, absence)
- Provide pragmatic, risk-aware advice balancing legal compliance with commercial outcomes
- Support and upskill managers to handle ER matters effectively and confidently
- Identify trends and implement proactive solutions to reduce ER risk
- HR Operations & Process Improvement
- Drive consistency and efficiency across people processes and policies
- Continuously review and improve ways of working to support a growing organisation
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice
- Update Leadership team on legislation and policy changes
- Support our Start Well, Stay Well, Leave Well philosophy
- Comfortable with owning HR Admin, including contract changes, employee records, and core documentation
- HR Systems Ownership (HiBob & Workable)
- Act as superuser and subject matter expert for HiBob (HRIS) and Workable (ATS)
- Own system configuration, optimisation, and ongoing development
- Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system utilisation across the business
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support business insights
- Lead system improvements, integrations, and ongoing enhancements
