We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Production Team Leaders to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food manufacturing and eager to lead and develop a team to consistently achieve high standards.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the daily performance of your team, ensuring that production plans are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow production schedules and work orders accurately.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely (e.g., kettles, mixers, blenders etc.).
  • Weigh and prepare ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
  • Monitor quality of products (appearance, consistency, temperature).
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations and follow hygiene procedures.
  • Record production data, batch codes, and completion times.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
  • Report any safety or quality issues to Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Comply with food safety, allergen, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Lead and motivate the team.
  • Promote and uphold excellent standards of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of hygiene and safety in the workplace.
  • Basic numeracy skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English for health and safety purposes.
  • Previous experience in food production preferred but not essential.
  • Possessing strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
