We’re looking for a Paid Search Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of Paid Search campaigns across client accounts. You will take ownership of campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Search Ads 360, ensuring they deliver measurable business outcomes. Working closely with the Performance Director, Client Services, Paid Social, SEO and Creative teams, you’ll translate insights into actionable strategies, optimise campaigns, and help shape the agency’s Paid Search capability. You will also support junior team members, contributing to the growth of the wider performance marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, data-driven, and client-focused, with a hands‑on approach to delivering high‑performing campaigns.
The Role
- Lead campaign strategy and delivery: Plan, set up, and optimise Paid Search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Search Ads 360.
- Performance analysis and optimisation: Monitor campaign performance daily, analyse data, and implement actionable insights to improve efficiency and ROI.
- Client engagement: Present performance updates and strategic recommendations to clients, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Cross-channel collaboration: Work closely with Paid Social, SEO, Creative, Analytics, and Client Services teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Commercial accountability: Manage budgets, track KPIs, and ensure campaigns meet or exceed agreed targets.
- Team development: Mentor and support junior Paid Search specialists, sharing knowledge and best practice to strengthen team capability.
- Innovation and learning: Stay up to date with platform updates, audience trends, automation tools, and emerging industry best practices.
The Person
We’re looking for someone who combines strong Paid Search expertise with curiosity, analytical thinking, and a passion for delivering performance-driven marketing. You will ideally have:
- 3+ years of hands‑on Paid Search experience, ideally within a digital performance agency or an in‑house performance marketing team.
- Proven experience managing campaigns across major search advertising platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360 (or similar campaign management platforms).
- Strong understanding of tracking, pixels, tags, and third‑party measurement solutions.
- Working knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- A strong analytical mindset, with a performance-driven approach and confidence working with campaign and audience data.
