Social doesn't divide neatly into paid and organic. Neither does this role.
The job has two halves: the organic content that makes a brand worth following, and the paid campaigns in Meta Ads Manager that put it in front of the right people.
This is a hands-on role. We don't need someone to sit above the work. We need someone who enjoys doing it.
You'll run social for clients including Aldi, the SPFL Trust and DNV. You'll work alongside other digital specialists, and every day with colleagues in PR, public affairs, creative and strategy. The people who run BIG still work on clients, so you'll learn from senior people rather than just report to them.
You'll deepen the side you're strongest in, get better at the other half of social, and get into integrated campaign planning and pitching.
What you'll do
- Plan, write, make and publish organic content people actually want to watch, read or share, in the right voice for each client and platform.
- Build, run and adjust paid campaigns, mainly in Meta Ads Manager: audiences, budgets, creative and live performance.
- Film and edit short-form video, including Reels, and make simple assets in Canva.
- Manage communities and know when a conversation needs careful handling.
- Plan and run influencer activity for clients including sourcing and briefing creators as well as managing contracts, content and reporting.
- Set and track KPIs, judging results against industry standards.
- Present results and recommendations confidently in client meetings.
- Be the day-to-day contact for your clients, and use the reporting to improve the next piece of work, not just describe the last one.

What we need to see
- Three or more years in social media, agency or in-house. What you've done matters more than the number.
- A creative eye and plenty of ideas, with examples of content you've made that people actually stopped for.
- Paid campaigns you built and ran in Meta Ads Manager, with real budgets, not just boosted posts.
- Copy that sounds like the brand rather than the agency, in more than one client voice.
- Short-form video you filmed and edited.
- Good judgement on communities, trends and sensitive conversations.
- Comfort with campaign data, several accounts at once, and a habit of taking responsibility rather than waiting to be managed.
- Hands-on experience pulling and analysing data in Meta Business Suite and GA4, turning it into clear insight and recommendations.

Our values: Refuse to settle. Own the impact. Bring the magic.

- Coaching, training and mentoring.
- Social events through the year, including summer and Christmas parties. Free fruit every day, pizza every month and a bar every Friday.
