Are you reliable, hard‑working, and looking for a hands‑on role in the motor trade? We’re looking for a Display Operative to join our busy and dynamic team on a thriving car forecourt in Sheffield. Responsibilities
- Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the forecourt to the highest standard
- Moving and arranging vehicles as needed, ensuring the site is well‑stocked and visually appealing
- Processing new stock deliveries – moving vehicles from the inbound transporter to the forecourt
- Assisting the sales team with stock access and selection
- Managing the yard’s day‑to‑day operations, including sold, part‑exchange, and auction vehicles
- Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and management
- Keeping the forecourt clean, safe, and customer‑friendly at all times
Person Specification / Qualifications
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (subject to DVLA check; applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements)
- Good communication skills
- Self‑motivated with high standards
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the motor trade (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective time management and flexibility in working patterns needed
