Work shift Pattern is 15:00pm – 01:00am (Monday – Thursday) and 15:00pm – 20:00pm (Friday)

Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Salary Base: £14.85 per hour (based on experience)

Description

We have a fantastic opportunity in Peterborough for a Polisher/Oven – Rectifier – Backshift, working within our busy Bodyshop team. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, an eye for detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is growing steadily. We are looking to employ a Polisher/Oven – Rectifier at our National Preparation Site. This role offers the chance to join a progressive company and work alongside experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

1. Polishing of new painted panels.
2. Rectifying paint defects.
3. Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
4. Keeping work areas and tools tidy and in good condition.
5. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

What we are looking for!

• Previous experience as a Polisher/Rectifier in a busy body shop, with a strong team ethic and self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• Good communication skills and the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work to high standards and demonstrate up-to-date vehicle techniques knowledge.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working towards efficiency targets.
• Systematic, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Honest and diligent approach to work.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Take pride in personal appearance and the organization of the work environment.
• A full, valid UK driving licence is required.
