Work Shift Pattern is 15:00pm – 01:00am (Monday – Thursday) and 15:00pm – 20:00pm (Friday)

Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Salary Base: £31,680 - £36,960 (based on experience and qualifications)

Big Motoring World Group is an expanding dealer group that is looking to employ a Night Shift PDI Technician at our NPC in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside lots of other experienced technicians to help and support.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy work with lots of progression on offer within a constantly growing.

Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out routine general servicing and mechanical repairs
  • Following PDI Process and Procedures in line with company standard
  • Carry out all tasks in line with your skills and the business requirements, to the highest quality standards at all times
  • Complete the final quality check on all vehicles, then off the car goes to have a fresh MOT licence
  • Maintain high standards of house-keeping
Person specification:
  • The skill range can be level 2 or level 3 qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required
  • Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
  • Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
  • Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
  • Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
  • Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
  • Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
  • Team player
  • VOSA approved MOT tester also an advantage but not essential
  • Dealer experience preferable but not essential
  • Your own set of Tools (Toolbox supplied)
