We are looking for a Master Technician at our Wimbledon site. Working as a Master Technician you will be carrying out PDIs on vehicles to an approved standard. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual with a self-motivating attitude, an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a PDI in line with the company standard
- Carry out all tasks in line with your skills and the business requirements, to the highest quality standards at all times
- Maintain high standards of house-keeping
- Carry out basic routine servicing and mechanical repairs
Person specification
- A full, valid UK driving licence is required
- Dealer experience is preferable but not essential
- VOSA-approved MOT tester is also an advantage but not essential
- Time served or hold NVQ qualification of Level 2 or 3
- Take pride and responsibility for your appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
- Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Prior experience in working to efficiency targets
- Team player
- Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
- Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
- Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
- Your own set of Tools (Toolbox supplied)
