As a Weekend Host, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional, professional customer experience to our customers whilst they are at our site. This begins with greeting the customer and collecting the required details to ensure that they receive the service we seek to provide. This role predominantly involves providing refreshments for our customers such as tea, coffee, and milkshakes in our in-house coffee bar.
Responsibilities
- To greet customers arriving on site.
- To capture and input customer details onto our Customer Record System.
- To effectively control the allocation of Customers to our team of Sales Executives to minimise Customer waiting times.
- To provide refreshments for visiting Customers.
- To ensure that the Customer Coffee Bar is kept clean and replenished.
- To implement good standards of Housekeeping on the Reception Desk to promote a professional image.
- To answer and direct incoming telephone calls to the relevant department.
- To ensure that the Showroom is tidy and well presented with correct marketing material.
Person Specification
- A well-presented, confident individual who is comfortable communicating to a diverse customer base.
- Good communicative skills (oral and written).
- Exceptional customer service skills/a positive attitude to customer care.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Acts proactively to add value and follows up to ensure problems remain solved.
- Team player.
- The suitable candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, be presentable, a strong communicator and will possess the skills to deliver an accurate, timely and professional service.
- The successful applicant will have good IT skills and be competent in the use of multiple Microsoft platforms.
- Experience within a busy office environment would be preferred, however, full training will be given.
